the jury's been shot.

i'm left wide open. for criticism, for hate, for love, for mockery, for floundering, for fence-sitting, for indifference, for extremes. i'm not going to reject any of it, but the acceptance depends on your general i.q.who am i to judge?
well, i'm me, and i put myself behind the bench, gavel in hand. enter my goddamn courtroom and be prepared. unintentional bombardment and infrequent sidebars leave me to be quite presumptuous. i have every right.
no matter the verdict, you'd treat me just the same. so i'm taking these liberties we've gathered and throwing them out with the bathwater, because this is a new set of rules that i'm living by. the injustice is thrown in for free.
took that metaphor a bit far.
but it's still just the same. people treat you how they want to treat you, and then expect more.
